“We had an amazing morning with Linda our guide! It was very rainy in Hokitika so unfortunately the road to the gorge was out of action. Linda was efficient in rearranging the day, taking us first to the treetop walk and then to the Ross goldfields instead. The treetop walk was gorgeous, the views were beautiful and as the clouds cleared we could see the snow capped mountains in the background. The gold panning experience at Ross was lots of fun and we got a lovely souvenir from it. Her passion for the area was infectious and her knowledge about local history, wildlife, plants, and fish and chip shops was…”
